How to Clean a Grill?
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Grill brush or scrubbing pad
Dish soap or degreaser
Baking soda and vinegar (for deep cleaning)
Warm water
Microfiber cloth or paper towels
Step 2: Preheat & Loosen Residue
Turn on the grill for 10-15 minutes to burn off excess grease and food particles.
Let it cool slightly before cleaning.
Step 3: Scrub the Grates
Use a grill brush to scrub the grates while they are still warm.
For deep cleaning, soak the grates in a mixture of warm water and dish soap for 30 minutes, then scrub with a sponge or brush.
Step 4: Clean the Burners & Interior
If you have a gas grill, turn off the gas and remove the burners. Wipe them down with a damp cloth.
Use a vacuum or damp cloth to remove ash and debris from the inside of the grill.
Step 5: Degrease the Exterior
Wipe down the outside of the grill with warm, soapy water or a vinegar solution.
Use a microfiber cloth to dry and polish stainless steel surfaces.
Step 6: Maintain Regularly
After each use: Brush the grates.
Monthly: Clean burners and deep clean grates.
Seasonally: Check for rust, deep clean the entire grill, and replace any damaged parts.
